Pixel art is done pixel by pixel in programs such as MS paint and Photoshop CS. It can take an artist from 1 hour to numerous years to complete a piece of detail and accuracy. Some artists (such as the makers of Eboy) are commisioned by magazines to create pieces as big as 2 metres by 2 metres.
